Matt Camilleri, PhD
Dr. Camilleri is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. His doctoral research involved simulations of human movement, including refinement of muscle models and the development of an algorithm to simulate a distribution of experimental movement data.
Current research activities include the investigation of visual and muscular loads resulting from computer use.

Mark Hudes is a Senior Statistician, Adjunct Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Department of Nutritional Sciences. He also has held positions in the UC, Berkeley, School of Optometry, and UC, San Francisco, School of Nursing. Dr. Hudes received his doctorate degree from the UC, Berkeley in Biostatistics in 1982. Dr. Hudes has a B.S. in Mathematics from UC, Irvine in 1970.
Dr. Hudes works part time at the UC, Ergonomics Program as a Statistics consultant. His expertise is used through out the program projects. Thanks Mark!
Ashley Karr

Ashley Karr, M.S., AEP has her B.A. in Medical and Psychological Anthropology from UCLA, where she graduated Cum Laude, was named an Undergraduate Research Scholar, and won a Wasserman Foundation research grant. Ashley received her M.S. in Human Factors and Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she also graduated with honors. Ashley has worked with organizations such as Emory University, The Veteran's Administration (VA), Patagonia, The City of Ventura, The Wellness Community, and Agnes Scott College. She is passionate about the use of human factors and ergonomics to improve public health, and her writing has been published in a number of journals, magazines, and books, including a behavioral psychology textbook for Oxford University Press.

Kristin Amlie
Kristin Amlie, the senior ergonomist for the Ergonomics Program of the University of California at San Francisco, provides ergonomics consulting services to clients in office, laboratory, manual materials handling, medical, and other environments.
Ms. Amlie has extensive experience performing job analyses and training programs; managing and developing ergonomics programs; creating equipment and design guidelines; and consulting on projects related to design, construction, and technology.
Ms. Amlie studied at UCLA and at Oslo College, School of Physical Therapy, in Oslo, Norway. Her approach to ergonomics is influenced by her training and work experience as a Norwegian physical therapist and from her experience working with ergonomics in Norway and the US.
Ms. Amlie focuses on micro- and macroergonomics geared towards maximizing productivity, preventing injuries, and minimizing risks to healthy and symptomatic employees.

Arlie Stern, B.S., C.A.E.
Arlie Stern is an Ergonomist on staff of the University of California San Francisco/Berkeley Ergonomics Program. In this capacity, she has provided office ergonomics services to a wide range of Bay Area corporations, state agencies, law firms, and non-profit organizations. Services include ergonomics program development, implementation, and assessment, workstation analysis and design, and office ergonomics training for employees, managers, and ergonomics coordinators.
Ms. Stern has been involved in the development and field-testing of a Computer Use Checklist and Guidebook at a major California corporation, comparing different approaches to workstation evaluation. She subsequently assisted with the implementation of an ergonomics program for a large Government agency that included use of this Checklist and Guidebook for training ergonomics coordinators.
