2017 COEH Summer Ergo Institute

This year, COEH, HFES Nor Cal, and the ASSE teamed up with the UC Ergonomics Research & Graduate Training Program to deliver a 2-day workshop based out of the Berkeley Global Campus where the UC Ergonomics Lab is located.  Attendees represented different professional backgrounds such as Industrial Hygienists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Safety personnel and Engineers and contributed to a rich inter professional learning environment.  Our faculty for the workshop included Drs. Carisa Harris,  Jim Potvin, Jay Kapellusch, & Joel Cort who taught about various exposure assessment techniques.  Additional faculty supporting the workshops included Alan Barr (Senior Engineer, UC Ergo Lab), Meg Honan (Genentech), Melissa Afterman (Genentech) and Ira Janowitz (formerly with UC Ergonomics Lab & Lawrence Berkeley Labs).  It was a great 2 days and we thank all of our instructors for their time and expertise.
