Mr. Janowitz has degrees in industrial
engineering, management, and physical therapy. He has an
extensive background in ergonomics, and has specialized in the
prevention and treatment of neck, back, and upper extremity
problems since 1979.
Mr. Janowitz is a Certified Professional Ergonomist and is a
consultant with the Ergonomics
Program of the University of California at San Francisco. He
has conducted ergonomic job analysis and training programs in a
wide variety of industries.
Mr. Janowitz is a Course Director for the Continuing Education
Program of the University of California's Center for Occupational
and Environmental Health. He is the author of several articles
and book chapters on the prevention and treatment of work-related
musculoskeletal problems.
